What is Pupil Premium Funding (PPG)

 

Introduced in 2011, Pupil Premium is the sum of money given to schools each year by the Government to improve the attainment and experiences of disadvantaged children. Schools must publish details of the number of pupils eligible for Pupil Premium, their barriers to learning, how the grant will be spent and a review of the impact of the spend.
