Home Learning

All children receive a weekly home learning task which is predominately english or maths related.  Reception pupils initially receive a maths pack/game to take home and share with their grown ups.  Children have one week to complete any home learning tasks set. 

 

The most important part of home learning is reading to an adult at least five times per week. 

 

Children from year one upwards will be set weekly spellings.  Spellings are linked to children's daily phonics or spelling sessions.
