Duckpuddle Class (KS1)
Computing in Key Stage 1
In Duckpuddle Class, Computing is taught weekly through PurpleMash. The program allows us to explore computing in a safe and child friendly way. We use many programs, such as ‘2Paint a picture’ which allows us to use computing to look at different styles of art. For example, impressionism and pointillism. We love to use computing throughout lots of different areas of the curriculum. Beebots help support us with our directions (left, right, half turns, quarter turns). We also enjoy creating quiz’s about Florence Nightingale.
